Holy activity, Batman! Today, I offer Yawtzee 1.40 unto you. This landmark release was built primarily to address the Windows 9x/ME compatibility issues introduced in the 1.3x series, but also contains new features for the first time in... well, years. The good news? No matter who you are, which operating system you're running, and how poorly you maintain your computer, this version will almost certainly work for you. The bad news? Yawtzee now requires DirectX 7.0 or higher to function. Those who are running Windows ME, 2000, XP, or 2003 are good to go. Windows 95 and 98 users will need to download the latest version of DirectX for their target operating system. Links are available on the Yawtzee product page.

In addition, this release includes a brand spanking new logo designed by the winner of our (private) logo contest... LeachC! Many thanks to all who participated: Devin, mo4ever, newt, and to a much, much lesser extent, Morgie of Cawdor. Yawtzee 1.33 has been released. This version includes a few important, long-overdue fixes, and is therefore a highly recommended update. What now, bitches?

EDIT: Due to overwhelming response, I've been able to identify a number of bugs that, likely, have affected the game since its first release. These bugs have been squashed, and Yawtzee 1.34 is now available for public consumption.

Okay. It took nearly a year, but I'm pleased to announce that the site is finally complete! THIS is the XS I wanted to launch back in 2004. Our more astute visitors will notice many small changes throughout the site. Most of you won't. One way or the other, it's no skin off my sac. The hard work is done, and now I get to sit back and reap the rewards of... sitting back. Good times.
